Kevin needed funding for equipment, but SCTD offers loan programs for working capital, and owner occupied real estate, or improvements to capital assets including remodeling, building expansions, or needed repairs. Projects below $250K are funded directly, while projects over that amount are ideal for the SBA 504 program, which funds up to 40% or $5.5MM dollars, whichever is less, behind a 50% loan from a conventional lender, limiting the down payment on such a transaction to as little as 10%. All loans from SCTD come with a competitive fixed rate for the life of the loan. With a lower down payment and a competitively priced fixed rate, you can keep your liquidity and shield yourself from interest rate risk at the same time.
